I’m dying to show you guys everything from my bachelorette party in Marfa, TX. We  had so much fun – more on that soon. One of the things I wanted to make sure I had for the trip was a memorable gift for my girls.  Animal welfare is something very dear to my heart. There is so much animal cruelty out there in the world- from the horrid farming conditions we have here at home due to mass production, to dog meat festivals and fur farms in Asia. I get so incredibly emotional about all of this. But I truly believe there are small things we can do, with minimal effort, to help animals have better lives.

The Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation is an organization I’ve admired for a long time. Their mission is to rescue big felines from cruel circumstances and provide them with the best lifestyle possible. The BJWT sanctuary is home to tigers, lions and jaguars, with many being saved from circuses. I’m not suggesting you go and adopt a tiger from a circus… but you can support BJWT and the beautiful things they’re doing for animal welfare by purchasing items through their online store here. I already had a few shirts of my own that I absolutely love, so I thought my bride tribe would enjoy the same. Best part is- all proceeds from the store go to the foundation. I got several different designs, all oversized so the girls could also use them as a comfy night shirt if they wanted to. My entire bachelorette party seemed to like the shirts a lot and we had a ton of fun sporting them around town in Marfa.
