Has everyone finished their Christmas shopping yet? I still need to pick up a few things, but I’m proud to say that I finished the majority of it pretty early this year. One thing that I always over think is what I should get for people at the office. You don’t want to go too overboard that people feel like they should have gotten you something too, but you don’t want it to get something so insignificant they toss it to the side.

I’m always on the lookout for something small and simple, yet feels thoughtful and special. So here’s what I did this year…

I currently manage a team of 10 program managers – 2 guys and 8 girls. For the girls, I wanted to get a couple gift sets that I could split apart… I ended up getting these cute eye shadow palettes from Sephora. They came in a pack of 4, so I bought 2 sets and each girl got one.  Some other options I was looking at were these 2-color eye shadow palettes (which was SUPER well-priced at just $10 for a set of 4) and this Tocca cologne gift set. The best part is that all of these options are super affordable. In addition to the eye shadow palette, I also gave each girl a Sephora gift card. Sephora is one of my favorite places to get gift cards because they come with a sweet little compact mirror, so long as you put a minimum of $10 per card.

For the guys, I got each a couple pairs of stylish H&M socks and a Starbucks gift card.

So if you’re still stumped on what to get for your team, there’s still time to pick up a few simple things – you can never go wrong with makeup, fun socks and gift cards.
