Mocktails & Mad Men

Nothing like a day filled with bite size snacks, yummy drinks and 7 straight episodes of Mad Men to get you ready for Monday morning. Here are the quick and easy refreshments we put together for our #madmenmarathon.

Smoked gouda, brie, cracked pepper rice crackers, sugared almonds, raw almonds and strawberries… mmm…

Cheese Fruit Nuts

The most low maintenance snack ever – sliced cucumbers and hummus.

For something more substantial, I love making this heirloom tomato salad.  Only 4 ingredients: heirloom tomatoes, few basil leaves, sprinkle of capers and a spoonful or two of white balsamic vinegar. I also cut up about half a loaf of fresh, crunchy on the outside, plush on the inside, French bread to pile this salad on top of.

No alcohol needed.  We’ll save that splash of gin for after work, during the week.
