Hey guys. Here’s to Friday. We have a fabulously spicy jalapeno infused tequila cocktail recipe for you to try this weekend. It’s a quick and easy prep and you’ll feel like you’re on vacation when sipping it down.
Here’s what you’ll need for the jalapeno infused tequila:
- Small mason jar
- Fave tequila- we recommend Espolon Tequila Blanco
- 2-3 slices of lime
- 1 jalapeno
And here’s what you’ll need to turn it into a delicious cocktail:
- 2 oz of (non-jalapeno) tequila
- 1 oz of your freshly homemade jalapeno infused tequila
- 1 oz orange liquor – we recommend Patron Citronge Orange Liqueur
- Couple drops of agave nectar
- 1.5 oz lime juice
Start by cutting up your jalapeno into slices. You only need 4 slices of jalapeno per small mason jar. Remove the majority of the seeds from each slice – a little really goes a long way. Fill the mason jar with tequila, then put in your jalapeno slices and 2-3 slices of lime. Let that sit in the fridge for an hour.
Once your jalapeno infused tequila is ready, combine 1 oz of it with 2 oz of your regular tequila and 1 oz of the orange liqueur. Add a couple drops of agave nectar and shake it all up with ice. Top it off with a squeeze of lime. That’s it!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Cheers!
