Bachelorette Party Cocktails

Man I miss Palm Springs. We were just there for my friend Sarah’s bachelorette party. We rented a beautiful house and had such a fun relaxing weekend. More details to come on our rental and the places we brunched at. My favorite part of that weekend was the time we spent just lounging around the pool. We made drinks, took naps and just talked for hours. We mixed two kinds of bachelorette party cocktails during the trip, and they were such a hit… refreshing, flavorful and best of all PINK. Try these two vodka recipes for your next cocktail party with the girls. Bachelorette party cocktails by the pool in Palm Springs - recipes from Shaker & SpoonBachelorette party cocktails by the pool in Palm Springs - recipes from Shaker & Spoon

We of course brought a Shaker & Spoon box with us on the trip – soooo handy because it comes with all the ingredients you need to make these bachelorette party cocktails. Bachelorette party cocktails by the pool in Palm Springs - recipes from Shaker & SpoonThis first drink is called “Under Sage Drinking”… I am in love with the color of this one. It tastes as vibrant as it looks. It’s made with cherry preserves, elderflower syrup and Meyer lemon juice – sweet, tangy, but unique, and really delicious.

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 tbsp cherry preserves
  • 1/4 oz elderflower syrup
  • 1 oz Meyer lemon juice
  • 3 sage leaves
  • 2 oz vodka

Here’s how you mix the drink:

  • Add the vodka, preserves, syrup, Meyer lemon juice, and sage to a shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously until the shaker is ice cold (15-30 seconds).
  • Double strain (strain from the shaker into a finer strainer) the contents into a rocks glass over fresh cubed ice.
  • To garnish, place two sage leaves on the top of the drink. Add a straw if desired.

It looks and tastes happy. There’s no better way to say it. The flavors of it are strawberry-rhubarb, with a hit of basil, and it’s fizzy! Perfect for warm weather.

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 oz strawberry-rhubarb shrub
  • 1/2 oz basil syrup
  • 1 1/2 oz sparkling water
  • 1 strawberry slice
  • 2 oz vodka

Here’s how you mix the drink:

  • Add the vodka, shrub, and syrup to a shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously until the shaker is ice cold (15-30 seconds).
  • Add sparkling water, then strain the contents into a collins glass filled with fresh cubed ice.
  • To garnish, float a strawberry slice on top of the drink. Add a straw if desired.
